Twitter

So I just made a twitter account yesterday… my major reason was actually to follow my science teacher who is very cool.  My twitter name is ZoeMcCartney12 because 12 is my favorite number, and ZoeMcCartney was already taken.  My Science teacher’s username is DrRockGrrl, if you don’t follow me you should still check out her tweets!

Also here's a picture of one of my favorite newest business cards! It features Ellbow (many of them do, the others are of Abey)

I'm making maquettes of Ellbow and Abey, I started on Ellbow last night, and it's still pretty rough, but I'm happy with how it's turning out. :D

More work for Senior Film

More visual development for my senior project.  I think I mentioned it, but the working title is Leave It, and it probably won't change, but we'll see.  Also today I went to Kinko's to get some of the work for Leave It printed for a gallery that two of my friends and me will be having in a couple weeks, and the guy working didn't really know what he was doing.  I'm not sure if he was new or not, but someone else had to help me because he didn't know how to solve issues with setting a print order.  Anyhow, now I'm going to go write an essay.

Progress on Senior Film

I've been doing a lot of working on the visual development for my senior project so that hopefully I can start animating by November.  I did turnarounds for Ellbow and Abey, more exploration of the leaf design, the tree design, and a cute little illustration of Ellbow and Abey embracing. The story boards are constantly changing, although the story is pretty true to the original idea which I think is important.

Character Designs for Senior Project

I've been working on a story for my senior project since summer and the main characters who I've been developing are a girl named Abey and a duck named Ellbow.  The story takes place in one location; under a tree in the autumn.  Autumn leaves play an integral part to the story.  Here are some character designs for what the girl, duck and leaf are going to look like!  I'm going to post more about the each characters personality soon.
