Primordial Soup

Enjoy a serving of delicious Primordial soup. I think that the phrase "primordial soup" has a nice ring to it.

Making a Film...

So for my senior project, I'm going to be making a short film.  I'm very excited and very anxious to go through this process.  The story will follow a duck named Ellbow and a girl named Abey.  There are some things that I am still working out as I'm still developing my storyline, but I have a pretty good idea of what it is going to be about.  I'm trying to make sure that it is engaging, but also has some type of message/meaning/point to it, which is probably the most difficult part to work out.  Now to be a little cheesy... No matter what happens throughout this semester and the next, I'm sure it will be a really good learning experience!

Mechanics Reel

I put together some mechanics exercises that I animated in Maya.  I'm trying to put personality into everything I animate, even if it's not "character animation" per say, because it's fun!

PUNS

So I really like puns, and sometime I just like to think of puns, other time they just come to me.  It's great!  So Here's one that I've decided to illustrate.

A Watercolored Wing

A little while ago I was a little obsessed with dragonfly wings, so this is one of them. I thought that it would have an almost stained glass look if I water-colored it.  The texture is pretty cool, so I'm going to do some more tests!

Snails!

I like organic shapes and spirals, so I drew some snails!  I wanted to use my white gel pen on the shell, but it looked weird with just white lines, so I experimented with adding black lines, and it looks pretty cool! I'm going to experiment more with that aesthetic.
