Lily of the Valley!  Such pretty flowers

     So last weekend I went to CTN which was really fun and inspiring.  On the plane trip back to SFO my friend who I traveled with was staring out the window at the lights on the earth and I wanted to take a picture of her and the view.  She has the clearest blue eyes, and the lights reflected in them so beautifully and the skyline was incredible.  But electronics weren't supposed to be on so I just tried to capture it in my mind so I could draw it later.  So here's my wonderful Travel Sister, Emily.

Alice In Wonderland

   For my class the assignment we had to redesign a hero and a villain from the same story, and put them into a different genre or time period.  I chose to do Alice and the Queen on Hearts in the 1920s.  The Queen was really fun to draw because of her shapes and attitude!

Quacky

 
    For Character design I had to make 4 monsters representing emotions.  So this is one of them, it's a happy bird named Quacky because she's wacky.  Yeah!  Quacky has all of the gold so Quacky is happy.

Character Design

     This is a short project that I did for my Character Design class.  We were to take an already existing monster and recreate its appearance. I chose the Leviathan, and added a submarine to show a sense of scale.  Even though it would be pretty scary to see this thing I didn't want to make it completely ugly.

Lately I've been really into drawing a combo of curly lines and bubbles, this is one of them.  They're really fun to draw and some of them have turned out nicer than others. But I like this one!

I've been pretty busy with my summer course (it's 5 credits), it's not hard, but there is a lot of work that we have to do, and there is a test every week.  But it's really fun!   

Here's a girl I drew shrugging her shoulders, but I haven't figured out why.  Maybe she's shrugging her shoulders because she doesn't know why I dew her shrugging her shoulders...
